VEGUEROS CUBAN CIGARS

In the Vuelta Abajo region, it is a tradition for vegueros (farmers) to make their own cigars. Visitors to this part of the Pinar del Rio province are often keen to try these cigars made in the country where the tobacco is grown, which is among the best in the world.

The result was that in 1996 the brand called Vegueros was launched on the market in honor of the countless generations who had grown tobacco in Pinar del Rio. Their blends are characterized by a special flavor intensity that reflects the preferences of the locals.

It is made in the middle of the city of Pinar del Rio in the “Francisco Donatien” factory, which was built in 1868 and converted into a cigar factory in 1961.
